How do I watch/listen to the DiscGolf365 Media Network?
There are several options for your listening and viewing pleasure, both online and offline, depending on the quality of experience you wish to receive.
Click here for a more detailed desription of those options.
Accessing the Chat/Fullscreen Modes...
Click the 'Enter Chat' button on the bottom of the DiscGolf365 Media Player. To chat, click on the chat-window and enter a user name into the bottom box when prompted and click the 'chat' button from that window in order to return to the chat/channel window. You do not need to register with Stickam or login in order to access the chat.
The full-screen mode is accessed via a little option hidden within the main media player that is on the chat page, it is found by doing a mouse-over in the upper-right corner of the media player (on the embedded Stickam logo) and clicking the far-right option. Note: Video quality is greatly reduced on most videos/segments when using the fullscreen mode. It is something we are exploring the options as to fixing, but it also seems to appear with most online videos, so there might not be an easy solution.
I can't get the live-stream to play!
Oh No! Try clicking the 'menu' button within the media player and selecting the 'live-stream' option. and/or refresh and reload the entire page. Otherwise you may have some other issues related more specifically to your computer and it's settings, you can also try viewing it from these other options, if they'll work. You can contact us with more specific questions, but we do not have an IT expert on staff (yet) so we may or may not be able to provide you an immediate or correct answer to any/all questions.
Can I listen on my mobile phone or other high-tech device?
Yes, you are supposed to be able to listen to them from most/all of the new 'smartphones' in which you can download in run additional applications. You will need to register an account with Stickam.com and then visit m.stickam.com from your mobile device to download the application. The Audio/Video quality ranged from poor-very good the couple times I've accessed it from my BlackBerry Curve. Visit the DiscGolf365 Mobile page for more information.
Are there any options for people without internet access?
Yes, visit our teleconference page or contact us for more specific details. Almost anyone can access an audio-only feed of the network's programming using any telephone or device capable of dialing a long-distance phone number. You will enter a basic teleconference room suitable for hundreds of other fans to also join into, using technology to make only the audio from DiscGolf365 will be heard on the line, all other guests will be automatically muted to ensure a the highest quality and no interference from other visitors. I can make quality broadcast material suitable for DiscGolf365, how do I submit it to you?
Just send us an email or otherwise get in contact with any of the DiscGolf365 staff, we would be more than happy to broadcast any worthwhile piece of independetly submitted programming. Please make sure there are no copyright violations within your work and that it will relate to the disc golfer demographic, either with disc golf focused content or other entertaining music, or mass media material. Please also make any submissions as near as complete and broadcast-ready as humanally possible in order to help ensure its prompt airing and to allow the DiscGolf365 staff to focus their efforts on other aspects of the network.
What ages are your broadcasts suitable for?
We generally consider the disc golf specific material to be rated and broadcast as a 'PG-13' type format due to potential crude language, humor and other potentially offensive content. Music hours and other entertainment programming could be rated 'R' due to the likelihood of a more frequent use of crude language, sexual references, humor and other material that is designed for our core audience of male disc golfers, ages 18-49.
How much does DiscGolf365 cost to view?
Nothing! It's Free! However, if you enjoy the network and it's programming, please somehow acknowledge us for it; Either with an email, coming back to the site everyday, telling a friend about us, clicking on a sponsor's link, telling a sponsor (or non-sponsor) how much you enjoy us, finding us a sponsor, becoming a sponsor, donating some money or goods to us, shopping with a sponsor, teaching someone to play disc golf, etc.
Why you always spell out DiscGolf365 as one word?
Do websites have spaces in them? Because we're website based and because honestly it's easier that way, and we've become quite fond of it that way now. It not only makes our logo's smaller by not using 'spaces' it also saves each and every one of you at least two key-strokes each time you email someone about how much you love the DiscGolf365 Network! Besides it's not ALWAYS spelled that way, I wish it was, but sometimes it just won't work as one word, so I guess everyone wins in some way.
